# Organization API: Read Your Org and Manage Invitations

> Read the current organization and invite, list, cancel, and accept invitations with the OneCLI API. Free on every edition.

An organization is the top-level account that holds your workspaces, members, and shared policy. These endpoints read the organization your API key or session belongs to and manage invitations that bring new people in.

To create members directly without an invitation, use [Members](https://onecli.sh/docs/api-reference/members) or [Provisioning](https://onecli.sh/docs/api-reference/provisioning). For identity provider sync, see [User provisioning](https://onecli.sh/docs/guides/user-provisioning.md).
