# App Availability API: Limit Which Apps Workspaces Connect

> Read and replace your organization's app-availability policy with the OneCLI API to control which apps each workspace may connect.

App availability decides which apps people can connect in their workspaces. Leave it `open` so every workspace can connect every app, or set it to `restricted` so only people and groups named in a rule can connect the providers that rule allows.

For how app connections work, see [App connections](https://onecli.sh/docs/integrations/app-connections.md).
